The NICOR EXL5 Series Outdoor LED Exit Sign is code compliant for Outdoor, Wet Location, and Battery Backup requirements. It features a durable corrosion-resistant polycarbonate shield to ensure a wet-location rating. it is constructed using a new injection-molded ABS thermoplastic housing that is flammability (UL-94-V-0) rated. The EXL5 includes a Nickel-Cadmium battery to provide 90-minute emergency run-time that kicks on if the power goes out. The EXL5 uses less than 3.6-Watts of electricity and can be installed in both 120-Volt and 277-Volt applications. The low-profile design keeps the fixture lightweight and easy to install. It can be surface mounted to a wall or ceiling using the included mounting bracket with EZ quick-connect. The EXL5 includes an additional faceplate for the backside (if required) and removable chevron arrows. The EXL5 is Wet-Location rated and protected by NICOR 1-Year Limited Warranty.
